  The beauty of Alsace is that it doesn't require millions! These are the best white wines in the world, at a fraction of the price of white Burgundy. Imagine a grand cru and quality like Albert Mann's Gewurz Steingrubler for $20!

  It seems to me that Robert Parker's most important contribution to the world of wine reviewing is his pro-consumer attitude. I am now accepting ads, costs have to be defrayed; but, following Parker's lead, certainly none from winemakers whose wines I review.
